Seasons Best is a Family run Timing / Race Entry company based out of Doncaster.
I have been running since around 2007 and have logged thousand of miles and hundreds of races.
5k = 15.50 / 10k = 32.50 / 13.1 = 1.12.41 / 26.2 = 2.48 (Marathon Needs Sorting Out)
I started working on running races in 2011 as a Course Manager on the Wilne 10k and Ramathon Half Marathon which were both very big races.
I always wanted a full time job in running but didnt find this until after covid when I fell into race timing by accident and spent a year working for one of the big national companies using Racetec and Macsha timing systems.
I decided to start Seasons Best in May 2022 expecting a slow pick up however we timed 12 races that year which I thought was a success 1 a month.
I did shop around for timing systems though and came across My Laps equipment which uses Timing and Scoring timing software this is the industry leader no matter what anyone says, still though it took a year experimenting with different layouts etc before I got the reliability which we are now known for.
2024 we timed around 30 races had 5257 people cross our finishing lines and had in total 9 timing enquiries for the year (Blog Post about it).
2025 we are set to smash that in terms of races, reliability.
2026 we will probably be working with around 40 races.
Seasons Best we dont want to be the biggest it will always be me timing and the wife assisting if its a bigger race and one day the kids as well we just want to work with around 60 races a year that we work with year in year out.
